AutoComm, Inc. Joins the Rise Vision Private Network Program for Resellers

December 30th, 2008

autocomm_thumbETOBICOKE, Ontario – December 30, 2008 – Rise Vision, Inc., a provider of a web-based content management system for the control of digital signage networks, has announced that Appleton, WI-based reseller AutoComm, Inc. has joined Rise’s Private Network Program to resell the Rise Display Network (RDN) service. This program provides a cost-effective way for resellers to develop their own branded digital signage solution to reduce competitive pressures and increase sales conversion.

AutoComm, Inc. joined the program to enable it to provide a complete digital signage solution that carries the AutoComm name and brand. “Customers have many choices where to purchase technology, including from other resellers and from the vendor directly, and it can be challenging for an integrator to build loyalty,” says Duane Weber, President, AutoComm, Inc. “Rise Vision’s Private Network program enables us to brand our digital signage solution as our own, which will help us boost loyalty with our customer base.”

In addition, AutoComm chose Rise Vision’s Private Network program because its volume-discount package enables it to offer exceptional pricing to its small- and medium-sized business clientele. “We want to be a turnkey solution for companies with between one and 100 screens,” says Weber. “As part of the Rise Vision Private Network program, we can buy a block of subscriptions at reduced pricing and pass along discounts even to buyers deploying a smaller number of screens.”

“AutoComm, Inc. faces the same challenges as many integrators and resellers, and our Private Network program enables them to strengthen their portfolio of solutions while building customer loyalty,” says Ryan Cahoy, Managing Director, Rise Vision, Inc. “Our reseller community has enabled Rise Vision to experience 200-plus-percent growth in the past year alone, and we will continue to develop programs that enable them to make more sales and grow their customer base.”

The Rise Display Network is a web-based, Software-as-a-Service content management system operated by Rise Vision. Subscriptions include access to live content such as news headlines, local weather, sports scores, and stock ticker updates. Users incorporate this live content with their own information, including media files, graphics, and text, and publish it directly to their network of digital signs. The new Private Network Operator program provides resellers with a personalized log-in page where they can promote branding, cross-selling, and event messages directly to end users every time they access their digital signage networks.

Rise Vision Reports 200+ Percent Growth in Sales of Digital Signage Content Management Subscriptions

December 18th, 2008

ETOBICOKE, Ontario – December 18, 2008 – Rise Vision, Inc., a provider of a web-based content management system for the control of digital signage networks, has announced that it has increased subscriptions to the Rise Display Network (RDN) by more than 200 percent during the past year. Strong sales of RDN have prompted the company to expand its marketing and sales staff.

Rise Vision is experiencing exceptional growth despite the difficult economic climate, and attributes several factors to its success:

  • Software as a Service (SaaS) Model: More than three years ago, Rise Vision adopted the SaaS model, which enables companies to subscribe to the web-based solution rather than purchase it outright. The SaaS model has a very low cost of entry with no long-term commitment – unlike other IT projects that are cancelled or scaled back when budgets shrink, the SaaS model provides needed options.
  • Simple Pricing Structure: Companies pay one, all-inclusive price for a subscription to RDN, which includes all features necessary to implement a complete digital signage content management solution: live news, stock prices, weather, and sports scores; design templates; unlimited users per account; and quarterly, automatic upgrades.
  • Sales Strategy: Rise has partnered with leading distributors to sell RDN, accessing their channel of thousands of resellers.
  • Unique Sales Programs: Rise Vision has developed unique programs that empower resellers, including its Private Network Program, which includes branding opportunities and volume discounts to enable resellers to protect their investment in the digital signage marketplace while creating an ever-growing annuity.

The high volume of growth has lead the company to expand its staff. New hires by Rise Vision include:

  • Todd Hemme, Marketing Director: Prior to joining Rise Vision, Hemme was Corporate Marketing Manager at Rainbow Play Systems, Inc., where he developed and managed marketing programs for its more than 300 worldwide retail showrooms. Hemme will use his marketing expertise to create more online visibility for Rise Vision and develop marketing programs to assist resellers and distributors with promoting the Rise Display Network
  • Elizabeth McKay, Technical Writer: Elizabeth McKay has more than ten years of professional experience as a technical writer in IT, software development, corporate risk, and engineering environments. She is responsible for ensuring that all documentation, guides, and user-based materials communicate Rise Display Network effectively and efficiently. She is also spearheading the development of Rise’s video tutorial library, a tool designed to help users and prospects alike.
  • Peter Mateyko, Reseller Manager: Peter Mateyko has a wide range of experience in technology development, sales, and manufacturing. Prior to joining Rise Vision, he created a Canadian-wide dealer network for digital imaging devices as well as a technology reseller business for energy-management devices. He is responsible for working with the reseller community and ensuring that Rise Vision programs and policies enable their ongoing success.
  • Peers Dischleit, Director of Development: Peer Dischleit has more than 20 years of experience in setting strategy and direction for government, large business, and new ventures. Prior to joining Rise Vision, Peer served as Managing Director for Mobile Computing Corporation, a leading North American mobile ERP and workflow provider. He is responsible for overseeing the development of the Rise Display Network quarterly releases from concept to completion, and ensuring that they meet Rise Vision’s high quality standards.
  • Adopting the SaaS model for the Rise Display Network three years ago was a crucial decision that has yielded a product that provides a simple, cost-effective solution for companies to get started with digital signage. This has been proven through our network of distributors and resellers who continue to make great sales progress even in this down economy,” says Ron Levac, President, Rise Vision, Inc. “With the support of our strong staff and our encouraging sales pipeline, we look forward to successful year ahead.”

Electrograph to distribute Rise Vision digital signage software

December 15th, 2008

logo-electrograph_thumbDecember 15, 2008 – HAUPPAUGE, NEW YORK – ‘Tis the season for giving. Electrograph Systems, Inc. today entered into a new relationship with Rise Vision, Inc. to give its reseller partners access to the Rise Display Network, a Web-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) remote content management system. Electrograph will host two free webinars, one next week and one in January, about the benefits of using the SaaS model for organizing digital signage content, integrating live data and monitoring a network.

“The reality is that the margin squeeze continues in the sale of flat panels and other display hardware,” said Sam Taylor, president of Electrograph Systems, Inc. “Today it’s the software piece of the digital signage system where the profit majority lies. With Rise Vision’s SaaS system, our partners can offer their customers the complete digital signage package from start to finish, plus the benefit of an application that simply plugs into the Internet and allows the network to be configured remotely by the experts.”

“Over the past 18 months, we’ve seen a big shift in mindshare toward software as a service rather than just a product. We are using this interest to create exclusive digital signage networks that highlight a brand and message, while allowing for profitability,” said Ryan Cahoy, managing director, Rise Vision, Inc. “Electrograph already provides incredible resources to its digital signage reseller partners. The inclusion of our Web-based software in its portfolio is just the next step in the process.”

Electrograph Digital Signage Webinars
The Electrograph digital signage webinar series includes the addition of two identical sessions on Monday, December 15, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. ET and Thursday, January 15, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. ET. Led by Rise Vision’s Cahoy, the sessions will explore the differences between the SaaS model and conventional on-premise software solutions. They will also review Rise Vision’s system features, such as emergency alert messaging, playlist scheduling and display monitoring, along with the ability to incorporate live public and company content.

Rise Vision, Inc. Eliminates Set-Up Fee, Improves Branding Capabilities and Live Data Feeds for Rise

December 2nd, 2008

newsRDN_thumbETOBICOKE, Ontario – December 2, 2008 – Rise Vision, Inc., a provider of a web-based content management system for the control of digital signage networks, has issued the Fall ’08 Release of its Rise Display Network (RDN) service. A Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-based content management system sold via the reseller channel, the Rise Display Network is updated quarterly by Rise Vision, enabling all users to have immediate access to new features to manage their digital signage networks.

New features to the Rise Display Network include:

No Set-Up Fee for New Accounts: The new version of the Rise Display Network is easier and more flexible than ever to configure, which means that users no longer require assistance from Rise to develop their own unique and branded presentations. Rise is passing along the savings to users by eliminating the Company Set-Up Fee. Users that desire assistance can still purchase a Creative Starter Package that includes consultation and up to five hours of time from Rise’s team of creative professionals.

New Live Data Play List Items: Rise Display Network users now have the ability to add live data feeds such as news, sports, financial and weather data to play lists.

Auto Weather Configuration: Geared for users with displays located in multiple geographic locations, this new feature eliminates the need to configure local weather for each display. Users now can configure RDN to automatically display local weather by entering each display’s address.

Improved Play List Management: Play List management of Bulletins, Media Files and Web Pages is now much easier with one-click Media Library management. Users no longer need to upload files to the Media Library, but can reference external assets direct from their Play List.

New Private Network Program: The Rise Private Network Program provides Resellers with the opportunity to create and manage their own exclusive digital signage network – highlighting their brand, their message, and their services every time a client logs in to manage their digital signage. With the Private Network Program Resellers can:

Reinforce their brand and message throughout their private labeled web-based digital signage solution.

  • Build recurring revenues and increase margins by purchasing subscription blocks at discounted rates.
  • Reach out to clients with each log in to cross promote additional products and services.
  • Create additional client value by offering complete digital signage network management. Resellers can deploy, monitor, and manage their client’s networks from any web-based browser.”Our Software-as-a-Service approach to digital signage means that users can focus on creating compelling and exciting digital signage rather than the mechanics of managing and upgrading software,” says Ron Levac, President, Rise Vision, Inc. “We have committed to offering new features and functionality to the Rise Display Network each quarter, and to providing our reseller community with the most feature-rich, easy to sell digital signage solution.”
