Rise Vision, Inc. delivers “Fall ‘07” content management for digital signage

November 26th, 2007

news-fall07_thumbSHAWNEE, KS – November 26, 2007 – Rise Vision, Inc., a provider of web-based content management software for control of digital signage networks, announces that it has released version 3.0 of its Rise Display Network (RDN) to the web. Part of its regular quarterly release plan, the Fall ’07 version of RDN is now immediately available and includes two features to improve content review and display for companies managing digital signage networks.

New features within RDN 3.0 include:

  • Email Notifications for Content Editors and Approvers – This new feature enables companies to better manage their growing lists of custom content by generating automatic email notifications to the people responsible for reviewing and approving the content before it goes live. Content Administrators, Editors, and Approvers are alerted as soon as a content item is flagged as ready for their review or approval. These email notifications ensure that the right Approver reviews the right content at the right time.
  • Play List Item Scheduling – This new feature provides complete calendar control of each Play List item of custom content, including Flash, Video, Image, Bulletin, or Web Page items. Companies can now schedule the display of Play List Items on an individual basis – by time of day, week, month or year. Companies can choose to display items one time, or on a recurring basis using any criteria, such as every Monday, or every third Thursday of the month. Users can schedule messages for special events, promotions, or seasonal events in advance.

“The Fall ‘07 quarterly release of the Rise Display Network is focused on ease of use,” said Ryan Cahoy of Rise Vision. “With RDN 3.0, companies can get the performance they want from their digital signage networks quickly and easily. And our web services model means no high costs of deployment and maintenance is required. Our clients just log in to our servers to take immediate advantage of these new features.”

Rise Vision develops the Rise Display Network, a web-based content management system that enables users to quickly, easily, and cost-effectively create customized content for a network of large format public information displays. Companies can include live data such as stock ticker feeds, sports scores and news with their own custom information, videos and Flash to create eye-catching content for their digital signage network – all of which is managed and delivered from the web.
