The Content Slider is a new Gadget that gives you the option to place several items, particularly image files and interactive HTML, into a single Gadget and allow the user to scroll through them, or the Gadget can scroll on its own if there is no interactivity.

The Content Slider is perfect for a Presentation where you want to give the user control to scroll through images and interactive elements while staying within a single Presentation. The Content Slider’s items are accessible through an HTML formatted text file you can create with ease. You can see a properly formatted file here.

Here are some of the features to customize the Content Slider Gadget:

Horizontal or Vertical Scroll. You can decide whether to have the elements scroll horizontally or vertically. The scrolling buttons on the screen will orient to your decision. You can also select whether or not to show the scroll buttons.

The vertical scroll (above) and horizontal scroll buttons (below).

Transition and Duration Speeds. You can set the number of seconds for the transition from one element to the next, and you can set the number of seconds the Gadget stays on the elements.

Interactivity Timeout. For interactive situations, the Gadget can count down and then continue to scroll after a determined amount of time of user inactivity.

The benefit in this Gadget is to provide more interactivity within a particular Presentation without the need to add more Presentations.

You can find the help page here. The Content Slider Gadget is released to the open source community on our project site. And, as always, we are happy to chat with you about this Gadget in our forum.
