newaddtv_thumbETOBICOKE, Ontario – February 24, 2009 – Rise Vision, Inc., a provider of a web-based content management system for the control of digital signage networks, has announced new features for the Winter Release of its Rise Display Network (RDN) service. A Software-as-a-Service(SaaS)-based content management system sold via the reseller channel, Rise Display Network is updated quarterly by Rise Vision, enabling all users to have immediate access to new features to manage their digital signage networks.

New features to Rise Display Network include:

  • Add RSS Feeds to a Play List: Users can now add RSS Feeds to a Play List on Rise Display Network. Favorite web sites feeds – including updating headlines, or any chosen RSS feed – are displayed in the user’s list of Presentations.
  • Proof of Play: The new release includes a Proof of Play feature. When users add an item to a Play List, they can enable a log for that item and run detailed or summary Reports on the times that each item plays in the display.
  • New Presentation Navigator: This new interactive visual aide helps users visualize and manage their presentations quickly and easily. The Navigator provides a visual representation of all the placeholder locations (zones) within a presentation. Users can manage the placeholders and their playlists directly from the Navigator screen without having to open each individual item.
  • Live TV to Play Lists: Where TV was a dedicated placeholder in a presentation, Rise Display Network users now can add live TV and manage TV channel settings within the RDN playlist feature.

“Our mission is to develop a feature-rich digital signage content management solution that is simple to deploy and use,” says Ryan Cahoy, Managing Director, Rise Vision, Inc. “Our commitment to quarterly updates means that Rise Display Network users can count on a continued stream of new features that improve usability and enhance functionality.”

The Rise Display Network is a web-based, Software-as-a-Service content management system operated by Rise Vision. Subscriptions include access to live content such as news headlines, local weather, sports scores, and stock ticker updates. Users incorporate this live content with their own information, including media files, graphics, and text, and publish it directly to their network of digital signs. The new Private Network Program provides resellers with a personalized log-in page where they can promote branding, cross-selling, and event messages directly to end users every time they access their digital signage networks.

Rise Vision, Inc. Announces New Resellers have Joined its Private Network Program

news-RPNP_thumbETOBICOKE, Ontario – February 11, 2009 – Rise Vision, Inc., a provider of a web-based content management system for the control of digital signage networks, announces that six new resellers have joined its Private Network Program, which enables resellers to develop and manage their own branded digital signage solution based on Rise Vision’s Rise Display Network. These companies join resellers across the United States and Canada that have signed up for the Program since its launch in the fall of 2008.

New resellers that have joined the Private Network Program are as follows:

  • Base 2 Technologies, based in North Wales, PA.
  • Direct Tech Sales, based in Indianapolis, IN.
  • Technical Service Resources, based in Carrolton, TX.
  • MaxView, based in Pelham, AL.
  • Sherlock Systems, based in Buffalo Grove, IL.
  • Key Media, based in Schoolcraft, MI.

Resellers note that Rise’s Private Network Program enables them to compete despite the current economic challenges while building long-term loyalty. “The economy has frozen capital investment purchases. Unlike server-based digital signage solutions, Rise’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) approach reduces the costs of capital investment, and will open doors closed by this current economy,” says Clyde Smith, President, Technical Service Resources. “The Private Network Program promotes long-term benefits to our business by helping us deliver an integrated package of technologies that our customer expects, and that we are committed to providing.”

“Resellers told us that they needed programs to help them overcome competitive pressures while delivering a valuable solution to their customers,” says Ryan Cahoy, Managing Director, Rise Vision, Inc. “We used their input to develop the Private Network Program, and are excited that resellers are responding so enthusiastically.”

Rise Vision developed the Private Network Program to enable resellers to build customer loyalty by selling their own branded solution, create value by offering a complete digital signage solution, and build a recurring revenue stream based on subscriptions of the Rise Display Network. The Program enables resellers to purchase blocks of subscriptions to the Rise Display Network at substantial discounts. Because Rise Display Network is a Software-as-a-Service solution, it is easy to sell and easy to deploy.
