October 1st, 2010 by Todd
Rise Vision, Inc. announces it has significantly enhanced its web-based content management software for interactive control of digital signage. This new version of the Rise Display Network improves users’ ability to manage and edit content, expands content choices, and enables comprehensive emergency alert messaging.
New features for version 2.0 of the Rise Display Network include:
- Emergency Alert Messaging: This enhancement enables any business, government agency, or educational facility to use digital signage to communicate emergency alert messages quickly and cost effectively. Rise’s easy-to-use content management system enables administrators to type an alert message, specify on which displays it will be broadcast, and length of appearance. Within seconds, workers or students can be instantly notified of any danger, be it a criminal situation or a weather alert.
- Expanded Content Choices: Rise Display Network 2.0 now includes a Play List format for video, images, and flash movie content. Users can pick content from an existing list, or create new ones on the fly to add bulletins, web pages, or other images quickly and easily to their digital signage displays.
- Improved User Management: This feature enables administrators to delegate content production more efficiently while improving content control. Users can add as many editors, reviewers, and approval layers as they need, customized for each content editor.
- Enhanced Network Administration: Rise Display Network 2.0 enables users to monitor, manage, and add displays to networks anytime, anywhere, from within the content management system.“Companies and institutions are pioneering new and innovative ways to use digital signage, and are relying on us to make our tools more intuitive and effective,” said Ryan Cahoy of Rise Vision. “This new release of the Rise Display Network shows our commitment to usability while delivering continuous system-wide performance improvement.”
Rise Vision develops the Rise Display Network, a web-based content management system that enables users to quickly, easily, and cost-effectively create customized content for a network of large format public information displays. Companies can choose live content options including stock ticker feeds, sports scores and live news and incorporate their own custom information for a simple subscription per video output.
